The scanner provides a “point cloud” of data for processing and preparation of plans. Whether it is creating an accurate as-built or providing an existing conditions plan, Medina can deliver to the client a product suited to their needs from a point cloud data set to finished drawings in AutoCAD or MicroStation. Medina’s successful implementation of this technology has been recognized and awarded by the ACECNY and ACECNJ. Two of Medina’s HDS projects were the subject of a recent Point of Beginning (POB) Magazine article.
